Morgan Dameron is an award-winning writer and director with a passion for underdog stories. She grew up with a camera practically glued to her hand in the Midwest.

After graduating summa cum laude from USC’s School of Cinematic Arts, Morgan got her start working on Star Trek Into Darkness and Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

Her debut feature film Different Flowers won “Best Feature” at Kansas City Film Festival, and was picked up by Showtime. She has developed feature projects with Paul Feig’s Powderkeg, 3 Black Dot, Olive Bridge Entertainment, and Very Big World Entertainment. She was named a “Rising Director,” by the Alliance of Women Directors.

She is an alumni of Ryan Murphy’s HALF Initiative, and a recipient of a prestigious Producer’s Caucus grant.

She directs engaging, colorful, and dynamic branded content for clients including Nickelodeon, MTV, Fox’s Empire, RevryTV, and Canadamark Diamonds.

Kansas City Women in Film and Television awarded her with the “Spirit of Kansas City” award, and Duke University’s Talent Identification Program honored her with their Early Achievement Award.

She is represented by Lit Entertainment Group.
